meet the 2015 official sponsor – QUEST NUTRITION

April 6, 2015

In just a little over a month we’ll be gathered in Boulder Colorado for a weekend of fitness, food and fun for the 2015 Blend Retreat! We can’t wait to be back in Boulder for the fourth annual Blend Retreat- and we’re fairly certain that this year is going to be the best one yet. Some of us will be attending the retreat for the very first time and others are veterans having attended in 2014, 2013 and/or 2012. Regardless of if it’s your first, second, third or fourth time attending Blend, you’ll leave with some wonderful new friends and a collection of great memories.

Janetha, Lauren and Lindsay have been working hard for the last six months to plan an unbelievable weekend for everyone to enjoy. And, none of this would be possible without our incredible and generous sponsors! We’re officially starting the countdown to Blend 2015 with a series of posts about our sponsors by sharing some fun facts about them (and offering some great giveaways)!

We were absolutely thrilled when Quest Nutrition signed on as our official sponsor for Blend 2015. Many of you will remember the awesome breakfast that Quest provided in Park City last year, and we can not WAIT to see what they have up their sleeves for this year’s retreat! We know that many of you are already big fans of Quest and familiar with their various products, but I bet there’s a few things that you don’t know about the company.

Read our Q&A with Quest Nutrition to find out some fun facts about the company’s history, products and what they have in store for Blend this year (and be sure to check out the giveaway at the bottom of the post!):

1. Who/what is behind the brand Quest Nutrition? Can you tell us a little bit about how and why you got started?

Ron Penna, Tom Bilyeu and Mike Osborn started Quest in 2010 with a dream to revolutionize food and make healthy eating fun. They created Quest Bars with one simple guiding principle: healthy food should taste amazing with zero compromises. People don’t just eat for sustenance; they eat for enjoyment. Quest doesn’t force you to choose between taste and nutrition.

2. What is the mission statement and goal behind the brand Quest Nutrition?

We believe great food can be transformational. Our goal is to make food that tastes impossibly delicious. That’s where our Cheat Clean mantra came from: Cheat Day can be everyday if the foods you eat are both clean and delicious.

3. Which Quest Nutrition products are you excited to share with the attendees of the Blend Retreat?

We’re excited to share all the Quest products that many blend retreat attendees already know and love, and to share our creations with folks who haven’t met us yet. From our incredibly delicious Quest Bars, to our shake-able, bake-able Quest Protein Powders, to our revolutionary Quest Protein Chips, we’ve got something for everyone to enjoy. And who knows, there might even be a new surprise. 😉

4. How does Quest Nutrition plan to be involved in the Blend Retreat? (Share any unique ideas you’d like- or you can keep everything secret!)

We’re excited and honored to be on board as the main sponsor of The Blend Retreat! We hope to treat all attendees to a wonderful, healthy, and memorable experience. We’re most excited about seeing all our friends in the Quest Community, making a few new ones, and sharing The Quest Spirit.

5. How can we find out more about Quest Nutrition?

You can Join Team Quest (@QuestNutrition) on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest for delicious recipes, fun contests, and inspirational stories.

We’ll be selecting FIVE winners to each receive a box of Quest bars (in the flavor of your choice!)! To enter, simply leave a comment below stating an answer to the following question: “What is your favorite Quest product and why?”

Entries will be open until Friday, April 10th, 8pm EST. Winners will be selected at random and contacted by email. Good luck!

My favorite Quest product is their brownie flavor bars! Brownies are my absolute favorite dessert, and when cravings hit, I just heat up a Quest bar and BOOM, warm & fudgy brownie that I am happy to be eating. You can’t go wrong when protein is dessert!

Sara April 6, 2015 at 10:20 am

i love the bars because of the awesome macros and the fact that I can toss them into my bagand not worry about them melting, so I always have a yummy snack on hand. My favorite flavor changes from month to month or even week to week . . . Currently loving chocolate chunk.

My favorite product are the quest protein bars! Favorite quest bar flavor is Double Chocolate Chunk! These bars are very filling and so so good. They are easy to carry around and great as a snack or addition to a meal. I love how you can bake them, broil them, etc to make them even yummier!

Alex @ Alex Tries it Out April 6, 2015 at 10:46 am

I love all of the bars for the convenience. They’re delicious, plus can serve in a pinch as breakfast when I’m running late. Win-win!

Jodie Flicek April 6, 2015 at 12:30 pm

It is so hard to choose a favorite. Ive tried all the products but the bars are by far my favorite. It is hard to choose just one! Im going to go with my tried and true Peanut Butter Supreme. When I need something a little bit more indulgent tasting, White Chocolate Raspberry. Honestly though, all of the bars are to die for!

Rebecca April 6, 2015 at 12:32 pm

The bars are so so delicious! Cookies and Cream, Cookie Dough, and Double Chocolate Chunk are my all time favorites!

Stephanie April 7, 2015 at 10:50 pm

You seriously want me to pick just one favorite Quest product? That’s tough! Currently, I am loving the sour cream and onion protein chips because they taste like a naughty cheat but they’re actually not bad at all. Chocolate protein powder is a close second favorite.

Deb April 8, 2015 at 12:29 am

Cookie Dough, Double Chocolate Chunk and Brownie are my favorite. A little healthy dessert action never hurt anyone. Sometimes I even warm them up in the microwave for 20 seconds to give it a fresh cookie or brownie taste. Love Quest Bars and recommend them to ALL my clients!!

Allie April 8, 2015 at 8:51 pm

My fave is the Quest peanut butter cups. They let me indulge in my obsession with peanut butter without feeling total guilt-burgers!!

katy r April 8, 2015 at 9:11 pm

LOVE cookies & cream……..I can’t get enough of them!!!!!

Karissa April 9, 2015 at 9:22 pm

Cookies and Cream, Cookie Dough and Brownie!

Meredith April 11, 2015 at 4:30 pm

Maybe i’m too late, but my favorite Quest product is a question that still can’t be answered.. it clearly took me over the deadline to decide, but a broiled apple pie, with a microwaved cookie dough and a raw white chocolate raspberry just cant compete!
