Hi, everyone! Janetha here. We are SO EXCITED to see you all in less than three weeks. Blend Retreat 2013 is really sneaking up on us! Katie, Lindsay, and I had the chance to stay up at the retreat venue over the weekend to finalize the details for the event. You can take a peek into our weekend over on my blog.
We have another great sponsor spotlight for you today!
Our friend Orlando from Onnit Labs is here to chat about their amazing company. I have been using their supplements and protein powder for years and really, really, REALLY love their stuff. I am so excited they will be at the retreat so you can try their products.
Enjoy this interview! There is an amazing giveaway at the end 🙂
Q: How long has Onnit been around? Can you tell us a little bit about how and why you got started?
A: Onnit started humbly in 2010 with our flagship nootropic Alpha BRAIN. Since then we have grown into a fully rounded Total Human Optimization company. The company was founded on the premise of helping people be at their best through bleeding edge science, earth grown nutrients, and strategies learned from top athletes and medical professionals.
Q: What product(s) does Onnit specialize in?
A: Our motto has always been that if there is a product that doesn’t exist or one that we can improve on, we’ll make it. If there is something that is already great out there made by another company, we’ll offer it to our customers. That being said we feel like everything the Onnit brand offers is a specialty in itself. From our nootropic Alpha BRAIN to our great tasting Hemp FORCE protein, our supplement and food lines are incredibly unique. We’ve also been really making a push in our fitness equipment with the release of our brand of chip-resistant kettlebells, steel maces and clubs, and our new Primal Bells.
Q: What sets Onnit apart from your competitors?
A: Besides our product quality, consumers will find an honest and attentive company in Onnit. We listen to everything people say and take it to heart. If we make a mistake, we admit it and correct or rectify it. You will not find a more transparent supplement and fitness company than Onnit. When people are entrusting you with their body, I think that is an important trait to have.
Q: We are SO excited to have Onnit at Blend Retreat. How will you be involved this year?
A: We are also very excited to be at Blend! This year we will participating in the Snack Break on Saturday from 2 PM – 4 PM. We will be bringing Onnit honor roller and Miss United States 2012 Whitney Miller to share some great recipes and snacks with the participants. We will also be distributing samples of products we feel participants can benefit from.
Q: We are excited to try your products at the retreat! But maybe we don’t want to wait.. so tell us, where can we find your products for purchase?
A: You can find our full line of products at Onnit.com. Also make sure to follow our Facebook and Twitter to get the latest news on upcoming releases and company news.
Q: Is there anything else you would like to tell us about Onnit?
A: We are always searching for better ways to make you better in health and fitness and we stand by everything we make. Our supplements and foods have great 30 day warranties. If you don’t like your first time and don’t see a difference, we want to give you your money back no questions asked.

I want to run more! I’ve tentatively decided on my first half marathon in September, and I’m doing my first 10k in less then 2 weeks!
My fitness goal is to get back in shape like I was in the military. Also, I’ve never been great at running but I would love to do a 5k this summer (and not walk)!!
Goal = surviving the races I’m randomly committing to!

I want to keep my fitness levels up, keep working hard, and keep learning new things! I just started teaching a spin class a couple months ago, so I’m looking forward to motivating and teaching others, as well!
Hoping to complete a half in 2013!
I have done several half-marathons but my goal is to actually place in my age group this year. So in theory I guess it’s to get faster!
I am hoping to complete a metric century this summer on my road bike!
My fitness goals are to run a mile in under 8 minutes (I’m down to 8:10 already!) and to squat my body weight. I also would love to lose some inches in the butt/thigh area 😉
Hello – gimme gimme! I love onnit and i have been dying to try their protein. My goal is to sub 4 a marathon. plus the normal toning, etc.
My biggest fitness goal for 2013 is to get certified in personal training! My biggest personal goal for my own body is to be able to run again!
Run a marathon!
My fitness goals include getting over whatever is bothering my lower left leg, and gaining more strength. I’ve been enjoying doing more weight training recently. I’d love to try these products!
My fitness goal is to be able to hang with all the people at my CrossFit gym and get stronger. I just joined a month ago and would love to be able to complete all the workouts without them being modified.
My goals include running a sub 7:00 minute mile (fast–for me!) and doing 10 unassisted pull-ups.
i want to get back to running! i’ve had to take a break because of some body issues, and i’m really hoping to get back at it!
My fitness goal for 2013 is to complete (at least some) GPP workouts as fast as everyone on site. I can usually get thru the workouts, but I feel so slow.

I am constantly pushing myself with “mini goals.” They help keep me motivated and progressing. One goal I currently have is to deadlift 200 lb by my birthday (May 23). Right now, I’m at 160, so I’m getting closer!
2013 Fitness Goal numero uno: Do a pull up!! =)
get back into running shape and PR my 5th half marathon in Nov. 2 hours or bust!
Add 10lbs of muscle!!
do a chin up!
To give 100% and fully finish Jamie Eason’s LiveFit Trainer!!
Fitness goals 2013: run my first half-marathon (an injury took me out of the one I was scheduled for last weekend), lower my body fat % by 5%, and run a 5K in under 25 minutes.
Dying to try shroom tech. My fitness goal for 2013 is to qualify for Boston! (Also posted on FB!)

My fitness goal is to reduce my bodyfat% and run a 10k.
Be able to do a non-ab GPP workout all the way through.
I tweeted.
I facebook-ed.
My fitness goals this year were to run a 5K (done!) and run 25 miles in a month several times (close but no cigar so far.) …I’ve also been trying to make sure I get enough protein, because its an area where I am lacking. These products would help!!
I’d like to train for a full marathon this year!
My fitness goal? I’d like to run a faster 5K this year than last. I’d also like to train for the January 2014 Rock N Roll half marathon in Phoenix.
As of right now, my only fitness goal is to get BACK to fitness! After having knee surgery last month, I’ve been working hard in physical therapy to get back to 100%…I’m almost there, but I still lack a bit more progress before I feel like my body is ready to really get back in there!
goals: to PR a 5k in under 23 minutes and to run a half marathon!
This year I am gearing my fitness goals toward fat loss. I got into some bad eating habits when I was training for distance running, which resulted in weight gain on the face of obsessive exercise. I have been changing my outlook so.that I enjoy my fitness more, and rely less on food for comfort.
My 2013 fitness goal – get my lower half in as good as shape as my upper half! I will do this by continuing to run, well, starting to run MORE, signing up for some races so I’m committed! I will also remember to think before I eat..do I really WANT this or am I bored?
posted on facebook!
I have a lot of fitness goals, but the ones I’m pursuing most actively at the moment include being able to deadlift 2x my body weight and clean & jerk my body weight. I’m almost there but I’d love some help getting that final push!
My 2013 fitness goal is to stay consistent. No pressure with numbers etc but just being strong
My fitness goals are to be able to complete 5 unassisted pull-ups (strict!) and NEVER do push-ups on my knees anymore!
increase running mileage!
One of my fitness goals is to strength train my arms more and to see as much definition in my upper half as my lower half. I’m a runner, so my legs are pretty firm and fit, but my arms? I’d be lucky if I could pump out 30 pushups at once. This year will be different! 🙂

Just tweeted! @cox_2446
my fitness goals have totally re-vamped lately! i am really trying to focus on gaining muscle and have finally accepted that i need to lift HEAVY! yes i was one of those girls who was convinced cardio would help me reach my fitness goals, and i have finally come around to realize that is not that case. i want to GAIN not LOSE and i am really pushing myself to lift heavy, push myself and challenge myself. i get such a better sense of accomplishment after i lift heavy and i love seeing the improvements! since i eat a 90% vegetarian diet, i have started relying on supplements a lot more to get the protein and nutrients i need to grow. it’s been a wonderful experience so far and i am excited to see more progress!

thanks for the giveaway! cannot wait for blend!!
Last year I lost almost 100lbs and this year I’m going to finish the job and lose the last 10 to hit my goal weight.
Run another half marathon and focus more on flexibility and strength training!
2013 fitness goal: focus on improvements rather than what what needs to be improved.
I would love to win – my biggest fitness goal for 2013 is to PR a half marathon this June!
My fitness goals this year are to tone it up! I want to incorporate more weights, heavier weights that is and build more muscle, quit worrying about the number on the scale!
