Muesli Fusion Q & A and Giveaway!

March 25, 2013

Hey guys! We are so excited that BLEND 2013 is LESS THAN two months away! We can’t wait to see all of you!

We will be using the weeks leading up to the retreat as a chance for you to get to know some of our fabulous sponsors. Today we are chatting with Muesli Fusion. They are AWESOME and we know you will love their products at the retreat. As an added bonus, there is a giveaway from Muesli Fusion at the end of the Q & A. Enjoy!

***************************

Super-Muesli

Q: How long has Muesli Fusion been around? Can you tell us a little bit about how and why you got started?

A: Muesli Fusion hit the market in early 2011, just over two years ago. I had been eating muesli every morning for 5-6 years. As I started to develop better eating habits after college, including more organic, I realized on products on the market were low quality and lacked variety.  I started making my own and had some friends and family try it and they really enjoyed it.  I started selling at some local farmers markets in Rochester, NY.  The products have caught on and Muesli Fusion has grown into many stores and supermarkets.

Q: What product(s) does Muesli Fusion specialize in?

A: We make modern muesli products with the perfect balance of nutrition and taste.  We use unique and functional ingredients like goji berries, chia seeds, cacao nibs, quinoa and more.  Our product line includes organic and gluten-free.  We just launched Super Muesli, a new product with organic oats, cranberries, almonds, coconut, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and quinoa.

Q: What sets Muesli Fusion apart from your competitors?

A: Our products are focused on nutritional quality.  We don’t use any sweeteners other than the dried fruits and all of our products are 5g of sugar or less per serving (how many other companies can say that?).  Because our products are not baked or toasted, they can be eaten cold with milk or yogurt or cooked hot like oatmeal.  All of our products are vegan and our line includes organic and gluten-free products.

Q: We are SO excited to have Muesli Fusion at Blend Retreat. How will you be involved this year?

A: We are providing the most important meal of the day on Day 1.  The day is exciting and action-packed, so we will make sure the readers fuel up with an awesome breakfast to stay full and energized.

Q: We are excited to try your products at the retreat! But maybe we don’t want to wait.. so tell us, where can we find your products for purchase?

A: Primarily on the East Coast, in Wegmans, Whole Foods, and many other regional/independent stores.  Available online through our website and Amazon.

I love the An-Ox Muesli mix. The mix of cranberries, chocolate, berries and nuts is so good. I use vanilla almond milk, add my own fresh strawberry slices, let it sit for a couple of hours in the fridge, and it is bomb!! I’ve never seen the Berry Burst, but I’d love to try that one.

Reply

Devon Marks April 1, 2013 at 9:40 pm

I love this stuff! I tried it one day a few months ago and was hooked! Now I eat it almost every morning. My favorite would be the Harvest Festival. However, sometimes, when I have two bags open at the same time, I mix them, and I really like to mix the Athlete’s Fuel with the Berry Burst. (I love both fruit and nuts in mine). It would be FANTASTIC to win the giveaway because I eat so much of it now!–hahaha 🙂

My favorite Muesli flavor is Harvest Festival with the Classic Swiss as a real close second!! I love Muesli for: breakfast, as a snack (especially after/during a hike) and as a topping for yogurt, frozen yogurt, pudding, sherbert, ice cream and ice milk.
